Welcome To Cool Creek Ranch
Cool Creek Ranch is a small self-reliant homestead which operates a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program.
We offer chemical free produce, quality fed pork, meat poultry, grass fed beef, free range chicken eggs and purebred Nubian dairy goats, no antibiotic/no hormones. We strive to be as self sufficient as possible. We make and sell our own goat milk soaps, organic lip balms, body butters and more....
Cool Creek Ranch collaborates with other local growers with the goal that it will strengthen our food shed and our communities.
Know your farmer, know your food!
Our goal and commitment:
We are committed to raising natural fed, hormone free, antibiotic free, humane raised animals, chemical free vegetables and fruit from our gardens and hand made soaps and organic body care products while preserving the land and operating our business based on old-fashioned principles of biological agriculture and thus, creating a regenerative footprint.
We achieve these goals by practicing ECO-Agriculture; a combination of biological and permaculture design, providing high quality ingredients in our products, planting and saving heirloom seeds, feeding HIGH QUALITY feed to our livestock, utilizing natural resources, composting waste and using natural herbs and remedies to treat our animals for potential parasites.
Is to teach and share self-reliant living skills through agriculture, the CSA Workshare/Internships, hands-on farm-based workshops and the culinary arts.
What is a CSA?
A CSA is a program where we offer members on a first come, first serve basis an opportunity to purchase fresh produce and other farm produced items in advance of the season. Like the farmers, by participating in the CSA, members not only reap the rewards but also share the risks inherent in agriculture. This program benefits both the farmer with much needed supplies in advance of the season and the member by being involved in the process of how their food is grown and handled. CSAs promote educational opportunities through apprenticeships, environmental stewardship, economic sustainability and strong communities.
What is GMO?
A genetically modified organism (GMO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered by using genetic engineering techniques. Organisms that have been genetically modified include micro-organisms such as bacteria and yeast, insects, plants, fish and mammals.

WHY GOAT MILK SOAP?
A fantastic benefit of goat milk soap is the natural PH it provides. The PH balance of goat milk soap is the closest to the PH of the human skin, which allows our skin to breathe naturally without clogging pores. Goat milk contains vitamin A and D, as well as other beneficial nutrients. Milk based soaps contain excellent smoothing abilities due to the proteins found in milk and their ability to penetrate the skin. New England grown indicates that goat milk has a special oil called Capric-Capryllic triglyceride. This oil helps moisturize the skin and goat milk is the only milk that contains it.
